Cd player and wiring/fuse?

I sold my cd player two days ago because im getting a new one tomorrow and left the wires hanging out taped so they wont fall in the dash. Last night i turned on my car and when I reached for the gear to put it in drive my hand had hit the wires and i heard the spark sound from them. I looked at my speed ometer and couldnt see it because the lights where they were had went out. The car was still on, my dome, and my headlights where on to. Idk if this is a fuse or something bigger but can someone please help. Thanks.
