How do u get food on virtual villagers the 3rd?

I've been playing this game for about a week now, and I ran out of food for honey, and i hardly grow any food from the big peach tree. If i don't get a lot of food, my villagers will go hungry and starve, and i won't get any master farmers, or even an adept farmer. Are there any other food sources? If so, how did u get it?
