Mass effect 2 insanity?

I beat mass effect 2 with my adept, so i decided to do a playthrough 2, to get her to level 30, and i decided to just go for insanity too, but i got wrecked on the second mission, and i'm just wondering what the best class, and bonus power is for insanity (I picked stasis, which blows), and some tips for playing through insanity too.
